Motion Design
To craft a compelling opening film and a creative visual experience for the Roketsan Strategic Partnership Summit.
Inspired by the theme “Growing Together,” we created a powerful opening film for the Roketsan Strategic Partnership Summit, spotlighting cutting-edge products developed incollaboration with Roketsan’s strategic partners.
The film opened with ALKA, followed by a visually striking simulation of rocket formation melting and forging technologies symbolizing different defense systems coming to life. Viewers were taken on a journey through this year’s most notable innovations, including TAYFUN, and the film concluded with a glimpse into the future through ŞİMŞEK, Roketsan’s upcoming space rocket still under development.
We also designed the stage and visual environment around this central theme, emphasizing collective progress and shared vision through dynamic visual storytelling.
As part of the event, we also produced all motion design content, including panel and presentation backgrounds, identity visuals, logo animations, and transition sequences.
Pre-Production.
Moodboard
Among several moodboards we developed, this visual theme stood out as the one that best captured the spirit of the project. While shaping the visual universe, we drew inspiration from the Battlefield video game series a world that powerfully reflects technological dominance, strategy, and dynamic action, all of which helped define the tone of our film.
We used a bold color palette consisting of turquoise, deep navy, bright orange, and black. The bright orange light trails, which we internally referred to as the “burnout effect,” symbolized both high-energy transitions and Roketsan’s rapidly advancing technological power.
The motion lines, light bursts, and digital grid textures across the moodboard supported the film’s pacing, its technological subtext, and its narrative of strategic collaboration. This creative language influenced not only visual choices but also shaped key structural decisions from scene transitions to character compositions.
Storyboard | Script
The film was built around five key scenes, each reflecting Roketsan’s technological vision through cinematic storytelling and advanced production. It opened with ALKA, featuring a real-time laser strike synced with 3D visuals. The second scene used a Houdini-generated melting simulation to form four rockets, representing air defense, air, land, and sea domains. These were later presented in a 3D-modeled test room inspired by Roketsan’s own facilities. Next, TAYFUN was showcased in a cinematic launch sequence created in Unreal Engine. The film concluded with ŞİMŞEK, symbolizing the future through a journey into space. Burnout-style transitions between scenes, enriched with infographic visuals, maintained narrative flow and delivered technical depth.
After finalizing the script, we brought each scene to life through AI assisted storyboard visualizations to better articulate the narrative. Our goal was to find the visual language that would best reflect the scenes we envisioned. Based on that, we developed a dedicated production pipeline involving tools like Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and Houdini. This integrated approach allowed us to craft a cohesive and visually consistent film.
Stage Design.
Aligning with the theme of the “Strategic Partnerships Summit,” we designed the stage to reflect the message of growing together with our suppliers. The structure was envisioned to expand outward—visually representing the power and reach of collaboration.
Art Direction.
Burnout Effect
Inspired by a popular video game, we reimagined and introduced our custom-designed asset, “Burnout,” as a unifying theme integrated across the entire production.

Production.
These dynamic transitions allowed us to present each product with infographic data, framed in a striking and cohesive visual language.
We focused on the “hard kill” feature, depicting ALKA shooting down a drone with a precision laser strike.
We brought the rockets to life through a dynamic visual illusion, appearing to melt and form out of fire. Using Houdini, we crafted this effect to create a bold and striking opening animation.
Inspired by a test chamber located within the facility, we recreated the space in a 3D environment with close resemblance to the original. For the opening film, we designed a striking scene where rockets were showcased on rotating platforms within the room, creating a visually captivating experience.
As one of the most in-demand and strategically important products of the year, the Tayfun rocket was also featured in the film, highlighting its rising prominence and relevance in the current defense landscape.
To emphasize the theme of growth, we concluded the opening film with a space-inspired sequence. Featuring an early iteration of the Şimşek rocket, the scene follows its journey into space, culminating in a transformation into the Roketsan logo, symbolizing ambition, progress, and forward momentum.
Result.
Final Thoughts.
Every moment on stage was designed not only to tell Roketsan’s story, but to make it felt. Through a unique production language, technical precision, and a fully integrated stage experience, we delivered an unforgettable moment. More than just a content production, it was a powerful expression of the brand’s forward-looking journey with its strategic partners.
